Top professional musicians and soloists of The Caversham Ensemble Chamber Orchestra, (many of whom play with the best London orchestras), directed by the superb violinist Peter Fisher, will play a wonderfully varied programme including; extracts from The Messiah by Handel, The Snowman by Howard Blake, a Christmas Eve Serenade, Schubert’s Ave Maria, Bach’s Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring, a trumpet fanfare by Purcell some delightful Christmas Carol arrangements for strings and much more.
