Reading Town Meal

The biggest “picnic in the park” that Reading has ever seen will return to Forbury Gardens on Saturday 29th September. You are invited to join us to celebrate the delicious fruit and veg that is grown in Reading. All the food is donated by the wonderful growers and allotment holders around Reading, cooked by Reading College students, and served free in Forbury Gardens. As well as the meal, there will be music from local bands and family fun activities. There will also be the chance to learn more about growing your own food, shop with local producers and find out what local community and sustainability groups are doing in Reading.
