Harris Gardens Open Day In Aid Of Cancer Research
The Reading Group for Cancer Research UK are delighted to invite you to our Open Garden Day with Musical Entertainment on Sunday 10th June 2.00 – 5.00 pm at the Harris Garden, at the University of Reading. During the afternoon we will be entertained in the garden by the Reading Ukulele Group with an energetic and diverse mix of music from the 1920s to today and by James Parkin, busking on acoustic guitar.
Plants, including some from the Harris Garden itself, will be on sale and there will be a craft stall for you to browse.
Tea/coffee/squash and homemade cakes available.
Do come and join us to enjoy the garden, the refreshments and the music. You enter via Pepper Lane off the A327 (Shinfield Road) post code RG6 6UR. Entrance £3, young children free
All proceeds on this day will go to Cancer Research UK.
