Why not come and join us on Sunday 21 May for the Green Park Royal Berkshire 10K, 3K or Mini Mile. Now in our 4th year we are really looking forward to welcoming 3000 runners of all abilities & ages, each with individual goals to achieve. The event has been fittingly branded the South’s most colourful and family friendly running event.

The races have been scheduled to allow parents enough time to run with their children before taking part in the 10K race.

8.45am Mini Mile / 9.30am 3K Mini Marathon / 10.30am Royal Berkshire 10K

Car Parks open at 7.30am – The official car parks are provided by Reading Football Club and within 100m of the Race Village. The charge is £5 per car, use Sat Nav post code RG2 0FL.

Greenwave Bus Service – Station Road stop SD at; 8.10 (50), 8.42(60e), 9.07(60m), 9.32(60e) journey time 12-15 mins. Buses also leave St Marys Butts 2 minutes earlier.Returns from Madejski Stadium at; 11.09, 11.39, 12.09, 12.39, 1.14 (all route 60e) to St Marys Butts in 18 mins and on to Station,

Greenwave fares are; single £2 adult or £1.30 Boost (aged 5-18), return £3.50 adult or £2 Boost, or best value is a Group return for £4.50 for up to 5 people, max 3 adults. Reading Buses day and weekly tickets and Smartcards can also be used on greenwave as can PlusBus rail add ons.

The Race Village is located close to the car parks and opens at 8.00am. Race Village facilities include bag store / toilets / help desk / catering / entertainment.

Medals and Awards – all finishers will receive a bespoke race medal. Awards will be made to the first three male and female runners in the mini marathons and in age groups for the 10K.

All runners will receive a drink and nutritional product post race.
