Blandy & Blandy Law Firm Unveils New Adopted Local Charities
Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy, which has offices in Reading and Henley-on-Thames, has announced its new adopted charities, after more than 50 local causes applied to work with the firm.
From 1 July Blandy & Blandy will ‘adopt’ Berkshire Women’s Aid, located in Reading Town Centre, and The Cowshed, based in Hurst, Wokingham, for a two-year period.

Chairman and partner Nick Burrows, who also specialises in advising clients in the charity sector, said: “All of our colleagues participated in the process to select our new adopted charities so thank you and well done to them on choosing two fantastic local charities in Berkshire Women’s Aid and The Cowshed.
Both are doing very important work and, over time, supporting thousands of people in need who live in our local area. We look forward to raising much needed funds for our new charities and to helping in a variety of other ways.”

The Cowshed

Having support from such a prominent local business will help our charity continue to make a real difference to the lives of people in our community who are experiencing hardship. We are very grateful for this partnership”.
Blandy & Blandy has donated £25,0000 to its outgoing charities, BIBS – Babies in Buscot Support and the Royal Berks Charity, with highlights including colleagues volunteering in the Royal Berkshire Hospital’s new health and wellbeing garden for NHS staff and taking part in last year’s Walk for Wards and the recent Reading Half Marathon.
