Mayor’s Charity Christmas Cards Now on Sale
THE MAYOR’S Charity Christmas Cards are now on sale at locations throughout the town.
The cards come in two designs, one created by children and staff of Dingley’s Promise and the other by Readibus, two of the Mayor’s chosen charities.
The cards are available at The Hexagon, The Town Hall, Cards for Good Causes in St Mary’s Church and Sonning Flowers, 35-37 St Mary’s Butts.
Cards cost £1.50 each and the full amount will be donated to the Mayor’s Charities.
All money raised from the sale of the cards will go to the Mayor’s chosen charities, which include Dingley’s Promise, Readibus and The Alzheimer’s Society.
Reading’s Mayor, Mohammed Ayub, said: “Everything we raise from the sale of these Christmas Cards will go to three very worthy causes. We have two fantastic designs available – so please dig deep, pick up a pack of our cards and help support Dingley’s Promise, Readibus and The Alzheimer’s Society.”
